No Egg Chocolate Chip Cookies

OK so I basically took the Ghirardelli cookies recipe (cause its the best) and took out the eggs and replaced them with apple sauce. I do throw in a little bit of cinnamon too.  So here it goes…..

What you need

1 cup butter (soften)

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 brown sugar

1/2 cup apple sauce

2 tsp vanilla

In a separate bowl

2 1/4 cup flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp salt

18 oz of chocolate chips

Heat oven to 375 degrees

Add butter, sugar, brown sugar , and mix until fluffy. Add applesauce 1/4 cup at a time and then add vanilla.

Add the dry ingredients in on spoon full at a time until its mixed in. I use a big spoon.

Then add the chocolate chips. I use 18 oz which is half of a 36 oz bag, but if you like more or less..add what you like.  Use a cookie scoop and scoop the dough on baking sheets about an inch apart (like three in a row horizontal).

Bake for 10-12 minutes. Golden brown after 10 minutes in the oven, YUM Enjoy!
