Antique shop in a Masonic Temple

This place was SO COOL! This was once a Masonic Temple. It was built in 1908 and dedicated it in 1909. It’s one of the first big buildings you see as you drive into Littleton, NH. It has all the old pictures and paintings on the walls. Downstairs you can still see the painted flowers, sun, and green grass in the children’s room. Very cool.

I love to go antique shopping, looking and finding all sorts of fun/weird stuff. This one had so many pieces from the revolutionary time. Beautiful furniture and little toy soldiers, old carving toys (one that I know my Dad would love) and cooking tools. They also had many neat things like old record players, rocking chairs, old coke coolers made out of metal and more. We found these funny little masks in the children section…….kind of scary 🙂

It was a nice day, so many people were out an about. Mostly because everyone in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York etc all are having their February break. Ours is this week and the towns have been so busy….which is great…..except the traffic…. It really gets me excited for warmer months to come and see this place come back to life.  So, many adventures ahead 🙂
